Pirates: Tides of fortune

tidesoffortune1
The graphics are your kinda standard browser game/ Facebook game graphics
tidesoffortune2
The ‘Pirate accents’ and ‘Pirate music’ in the game are Irish…. who knew all Pirates were Irish!
tidesoffortune3
Real-time is required for building or researching
tidesoffortune4
There’s a very large research tree to get through
tidesoffortune5
You can raid other ships or attack islands controlled by other players.

Nords: Heroes of the North

1
You know you’ve gotten a great job when the last guy was eaten.
2
You can choose between nords, elves and orcs as races with gender variation for each. This particular Orc female got her Warhammer as a Sweet 16th present, or so she announced at least.
3
The game map looks great.
4
The stronghold looks pretty good and it’s going to fill up with buildings soon!
5
There are different units to build to use in fights.
6
Players don’t interact with combat but at least you get to watch!
Stronghold Kingdoms 2

Stronghold Kingdoms

Stronghold Kingdoms 1
The game world is very large and many times you will be very confused in regards to where you are, especially if you have a smaller village like this one.
Stronghold Kingdoms 2
The visuals are pretty much similar to Stronghold 1, although the interface is revamped and offers quite a lot of details which is a major plus in this regard!
Stronghold Kingdoms 3
Stronghold Kingdoms has a great research tree, but as you progress it can become a little confusing because there are so many fields to study that you can easily lose focus on the matter at hand.
Stronghold Kingdoms 4
Quests are very simple, which is a downside here as you do need a challenge. The challenge comes however from the other players that pay for resources and which makes the title very unfair to you at times.
Stronghold Kingdoms 5
Your faction might rise or fall, it’s all up to you and how you choose to play, but the move missions you do and the more often you play, the better the outcome.
Stronghold Kingdoms 6
While you can create missions on your own, it’s very hard to get the best ones right from the start, and you will find yourself farming often because of that!

Elvenar

1
The in-game graphics looks pretty good!
2
Researching uses some real-time mechanics… you might be waiting around a while to get anything done.
3
Part of getting new territory to build on means you need to get a bunch of relics from an area
4
Combat is hexagon tile based and is also pretty strategic
5
Players can join or form fellowships with others in their quest to expand
6
Real money is needed to upgrade your city at a fast pace but you don’t really need to spend anything… unless you want a bunch of builders.

Khan Wars

1
Khan Wars allows you to first choose the desired nation, there 12 of them and some come as highly recommended based on the ease of gameplay they provide.
2
At first the castles are very simple, but once you start building up and acquiring resources, you will find yourself grinding resources in order to get to the next levels.
3
Creating new buildings is very easy and each building comes with its own creation time, which is shown at the bottom of the window.
4
Checking out the local area is important if you want to protect yourself against the incoming attacks, although the graphics are a little basic and sometimes unpolished, making the experience a little bit startled.
5
The game world is so large that things can easily get very confusing rather fast, which is why it’s a very good idea to always figure out where you are at first.
6
The interface for Khan Wars is simple yet functional, and that’s what makes it a great choice!
